And on how to make iced coffee, it can be prepared in the traditional way, with the use of water at elevated temperatures, with the method of your choice – whether it is brewed, French press or espresso, among others – and then cooled, usually with ice cubes.  

Another method is the famous cold brew coffee, mentioned above, which is prepared by soaking the coffee in cold water for several hours, usually 12 to 18 hours, at cold or room temperature, and then brewing it.

1. Classic iced coffee or latte iced coffee

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of Lucky Hills specialty coffee, brewed

– Ice cubes

– Sugar or sweetener to taste (optional)

– ½ cup of cold milk (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee and sweeten to taste; 
  2. Let the coffee cool to room temperature;
  3. Then, fill a tall glass with ice cubes; 
  4. Pour the coffee over the ice;
  5. For the latte version, add the cold milk too; 
  6. Stir well to ensure proper mixing of ingredients;
  7. Serve immediately.

2. Iced coffee with fruit

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of Lucky Hills specialty coffee, brewed

– ½ cup of milk 

– ½ cup of fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or others of your choice)

– Ice cubes

– Sugar or sweetener to taste (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Brew a cup of coffee and let it cool to room temperature;
  2. Wash and cut fresh fruit into small pieces;
  3. In a blender, place the cooled coffee, milk, fruit and sugar/sweetener (optional);
  4. Mix all ingredients in the blender until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture;
  5. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes; 
  6. Pour the coffee and fruit mixture over the ice;
  7. Garnish with a slice of fruit;
  8. Serve immediately.

3. Coconut iced coffee

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of Lucky Hills specialty coffee, brewed

– ½ cup of coconut milk 

– Ice cubes 

– Sugar or sweetener to taste (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee and sweeten to taste; 
  2. Fill a glass with the desired amount of ice cubes;
  3. Pour the coffee over the ice;
  4. Add coconut milk, usually about ½ cup, but you can adjust it according to your preferences;
  5. Stir well to ensure proper mixing of ingredients;
  6. Serve immediately.

4. Iced caramel macchiato

Ingredients:

– 2 shots of espresso prepared with Lucky Hills specialty coffee

– ½ cup of cold milk 

– 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce

– 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup

– Ice cubes

– Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the two shots of espresso and let them cool;
  2. Swirl caramel around the glass interior and fill it with ice cubes;
  3. Add cold milk and vanilla syrup, stirring gently to ensure proper mixing of ingredients;
  4. Pour the espresso carefully in the center of the glass;
  5. Finish the drink with caramel sauce;
  6. If the customer wishes, top it with whipped cream;
  7. Serve immediately.

5. Iced mocha

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of Lucky Hills specialty coffee, brewed

– 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate sauce (adjust to taste

– ½ cup of cold milk 

– Ice cubes

Preparation:

  1. Brew a cup of strong coffee;
  2. Swirl chocolate sauce around the glass interior;
  3. Add coffee and stir well to incorporate the chocolate flavor;
  4. Add ice cubes to the glass to chill the drink;
  5. Add cold milk and stir again to ensure proper mixing of ingredients;
  6. If the customer wishes, top it with whipped cream;
  7. Serve immediately.

6. Coffee frappé  

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of Lucky Hills specialty coffee, brewed

– Ice cubes

– ½ to 1 cup of milk

– Sugar or sweetener to taste (optional)

– Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Brew a cup of coffee and let it cool to room temperature;
  2. In a blender, add the ice cubes, chilled coffee, milk and sugar/sweetener (optional);
  3. Mix all ingredients in the blender until you get a homogeneous mixture and a creamy texture;
  4. Pour the mixture into a glass and top it with whipped cream (optional);
  5. Serve immediately.

7 – Affogato

Ingredients:

– 1 shot of espresso prepared with Lucky Hills specialty coffee

– 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream

– Chocolate shavings or chopped almonds (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Prepare a shot of espresso and place it in a cup or small glass;
  2. While the coffee is still hot, place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of it;
  3. The heat of the coffee will melt the ice cream, creating a delicious combination of flavors and textures;
  4. Garnish with chocolate shavings or chopped almonds;
  5. Serve immediately.
